Our brands within the Albert Group

The Albert Group develops EdTech products for schools and consumers. The company was founded in 2015 with the goal of democratising education and empowering every child to reach their full potential. The product portfolio consists of educational apps, educational films and physical learning products under the brands Albert, Jaramba, Holy Owly, Film & Skola, Strawbees and Sumdog. Since their launch, they have helped more than ten million children and young people to make learning engaging and personalised. The company is headquartered in Sweden, and is active in several countries in Europe, the US and Asia.

Albert

Albert consists of curriculum-based learning applications for children aged 3-16. With its home market in the Nordics, it also has a presence in other European markets. Albert has helped more than 500,000 families and covers a wide range of school subjects such as reading, writing, English, geography and basic programming.

Designed for schools and families, Sumdog provides games-based adaptive learning for maths and spelling practice, providing a fun and engaging learning experience for students aged 5 to 14. Supporting mastery learning, teachers can use Sumdog's insights to help identify gaps and plan next steps.

Jaramba

Jaramba is the Albert Group's app for the very youngest children, with a focus on 2 to 5 year olds. Jaramba
focuses on encouraging children to develop their curiosity and and knowledge through play. Jaramba is offered to households and preschools in the Swedish market.

Holy Owly

Holy Owly is an innovative language-learning app for children aged 3 to 12, offering a fun and engaging way to learn English in just five minutes a day. Developed by linguists after three years of research, the app uses voice recognition technology to help children learn through interactive exercises and games. The app's method focuses on a personalized learning experience, ensuring that each child progresses at their own pace.

The platform uses films to illustrate complex concepts, foster discussions and develop critical thinking skills.
